There’s no first choice wicketkeeper in the side: Rahul Dravid
Indian cricket team lost against Pakistan on Sunday, 4th September, in Dubai International cricket stadium, UAE. Ahead of this super 4 game in the Asia Cup 2022, Indian cricket team head coach Rahul Dravid has opened up about team’s wicketkeeping choices. Rahul Dravid said that there is no permanent wicket-keeper in this team. Former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid clears that the wicket-keeper choices is tough and everyone will have to perform well in order to be in the team.
“There’s no first choice wicketkeeper in the side… We play according to the conditions, situation, opposition and what we feel is the best XI. There’s no such a thing as first choice playing XI for every single condition. That will vary,” said Rahul Dravid ahead of India vs Pakistan as reported by India Today.
Rahul Dravid also said that the players and the team is decided by the whole management on the basis of the opponents and their weaknesses as well. India still has a chance to go to the finals of the Asia Cup 2022 which will be played on Sunday, 11th September.
