These pacers will end the death overs trouble for India: Irfan Pathan

Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan feels India’s death overs trouble will be solved after Jasprit Bumrah, and Harshal Patel made a comeback in the team. Both the Indian pacers namely Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel has been added in the Indian squad for the upcoming series and the big tournament i.e. T20 World Cup.

Both the pacers were injured ahead of the Asia Cup 2022 and thus couldn’t participate in the tournament. India were removed from the tournament (Asia Cup 2022) after they lost two straight games in the tournament.

Irfan Pathan feels the death bowling quality was not present in India during the Asia Cup 2022 and therefore it became difficult for them to dominate the opponents. But after the inclusion of experienced pacers like Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel, the death bowling problem will not be any problem anymore.

“Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh and Harshal Patel, these three will solve your problem of bowling 5 overs at the death. It is quite understandable that once you return from an injury, you take some time but you will get the game time as you are playing against Australia and South Africa before the World Cup,” said Irfan Pathan via Star Sports.
