Indian cricket team opening batter KL Rahul attended a post-match press conference after the game against Afghanistan on Thursday, 8th September. KL Rahul was in this conference as he was the captain of the team in this game and regular captain Rohit Sharma was rested.
KL Rahul had a decent day as a captain of the Indian team in the last game of the Asia Cup 2022. Indian team won by 101 runs as they bowled out Afghanistan on 111 runs in Dubai. Virat Kohli had one of the best games in T20I as he scored his 71st century for which he waited three years. as Rohit missed the game against Afghanistan, Virat opened the innings with skipper KL Rahul. After the game when KL Rahul was asked about whether Virat Kohli could open the innings in the upcoming T20 World Cup, he gave a weird reply to the reporter.
“Toh kya mai khud baith jaun?,” replied KL Rahul on whether Virat Kohli can open the innings in the T20 World Cup in the post-match press conference as posted by BCCI. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul gave a perfect start to the Indian team in this game against Afghanistan.
