Trent and Salah help Liverpool ease past Rangers

UEFA Champions League is back after a long international break. The first day of the 3rd matchweek was entertaining. English Premier League side Liverpool FC faced Rangers FC on Tuesday night at Anfield (Liverpool’s home ground). Jurgen Klopp’s men were good on the night of the Champions League after a disappointing result against Brighton on Saturday in the Premier League.

Liverpool FC are not in a good run of form this season as they are at the 9th place in the Premier League points table with just 2 wins in 7 games. However, they are now close to qualify for the next round of the UEFA Champions League after a victory over Rangers FC on Tuesday.

Liverpool FC scored 2 goals in this game starting with a wonderful free-kick goal from Trent-Alexander Arnold. That was some spot kick from the English right-back. Liverpool led Rangers FC by 1-0 in the first half. They did score another goal which came in the 53rd minute. It was an another goal from the spot after the penalty was awarded to the host. Salah scored the penalty and sealed the game for the ‘Reds’.
