UEFA Nations League: Dalot at the double as Portugal leapfrog Spain in group 2

Portugal beat Czech Republic by a big margin to go to the top of their group 2 in the UEFA Nations League. The Portuguese were amazing on Saturday night, 24th September at sinobo Stadium (Czech Republic). Portugal scored 4 goals without a reply from the Czech Republic’s men.

It all started with the Manchester United’s right back Diogo Dalot’s goal which came in the 33rd minute of the game. Just before the half-time, Man United’s midfielder Bruno Fernandes scored the another for Portugal to give a 2-0 lead to Portugal in the first half.

Dalot completed his brace in the second half as he scored a wonderful goal to put Portugal more ahead of Czech Republic in the game. In the end, substitute Diogo Jota scored the last goal of the game to seal a 4-0 victory over Czech Republic. Portugal dominated the game and there were some moments happened which was tough for the fans to see. Cristiano Ronaldo hurt his nose as he collided with Czech Republic’s goalkeeper during the game. With this victory, Portugal leapfrog Spain in the group 2 of the UEFA Nations League.
