When I’m not scoring I’m not happy: Heung-Min Son
Tottenham Hotspur’s forward Heung-Min Son had opened up about his feelings towards football. The winger was asked questions regarding his muted goal celebration against Leicester City in the last game. Tottenham Hotspur faced Leicester City in their last Premier League game.
Antonio Conte’s men won this game by a huge margin of 6-2 thanks to Heung-Min Son second half hat-trick who killed this game off. South Korean forward Heung-Min Son explained why he did the muted celebration when he scored his first goal in the Premier League new season. Antonio Conte left Heung-Min Son on bench for this game against Leicester as he didn’t have a single goal in the previous 6 he started.
After Son came on in the second half, he did no mercy on Leicester players as he completed his hat-trick in just 13 minutes. Heung-Min Son scored his first two goals from outside of the box. The third goal somehow went in and he completed his hat-trick.
“I’m an attacking player, so if I don’t score how can I be happy? I can’t be happy if I have unbelievable opportunities to score goals or make chances. If I don’t score and I’m happy, probably I wouldn’t be here,” said Heung-Min Son via The Times.
