Yuvraj Singh on 40th birthday announces launch of his NFT collection

Yuvraj Singh, the Indian all-rounder, and hero of the 2011 World Cup, starts his second inning. Earlier, in one of his social media posts, Yuvraj hinted at his comeback, and it took the netizens by storm.

On the 12th of December, which is also his birthday, Yuvraj finally decided to reveal his big surprise. Sharing a video on various social media platforms, Yuvraj announced that he will launch his NFT collection.

The tweet he posted on Twitter read, “being there from ball 1 to the time I decided to hang up my jersey, the fans have always been with me. Thank u for cheering in my highs & giving strength in my lows. On my b’day, I’m proud to announce a special gift for u-Yuvraj Singh NFT collection.”

While in the video that he posted alongside the caption, Yuvraj can be heard calling NFT “the present,” and he wants to do it for his fans by creating an NFT collection of his own. The video also revealed that the collection will be launched and available from the 25th of December 2021.

Yuvraj Singh was a part of the Indian cricket team setup for over a decade. He won the inaugural T20 world cup in 2007 and later the 2011 ODI World Cup as well. Yuvraj was associated with phenomenal hitting, and his 6 sixes in an over against England’s Stuart Broad will remain etched in the memories of his fans forever.

He was the driving force behind India’s 2011 world cup victory and was awarded the Man of the Tournament award for his efforts and performances. Yuvraj played 402 international matches across all formats in his long career and made 11,778 international runs. Handy with the ball, he also managed to pick 148 wickets.
