Kirloskar Ferrous Reports Q1 FY27 Revenue of ₹1,771.5 Crore; Net Profit at ₹82.3 Crore
Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Limited (KFIL) reported standalone revenue of ₹1,771.5 crore for the first quarter of FY27, registering 4% year-on-year growth from ₹1,698.1 crore.
Standalone profit before tax (before exceptional items) increased 6% to ₹134.4 crore, while net profit stood at ₹82.3 crore. EBITDA (before exceptional items) was ₹215.7 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 12.2%.
Commenting on the performance, Managing Director R.V. Gumaste said the company’s growth was driven by strong momentum in its castings and steel businesses, where volumes increased 18% and 13%, respectively, supported by demand from the automotive and precision engineering sectors.
He added that despite higher coking coal prices and planned moderation in the tubes business, KFIL remains focused on improving product mix, expanding market reach, enhancing operational efficiency and increasing the use of green energy to drive sustainable long-term growth.
