KOEL Strengthens Technology-Led Growth Strategy with Strong Domestic Performance in Q1 FY27

Kirloskar Oil Engines reported standalone revenue from operations of ₹1,471 crore, up 16% year-on-year, while net profit stood at ₹99 crore, saying that its first-quarter performance reflects continued progress in transforming into a technology-led engineering and power solutions company.

During the quarter, the company strengthened its domestic leadership in power generation, expanded its OptiPrime modular power systems portfolio for mission-critical applications and continued investments in gas-based distributed power solutions.

The Industrial business diversified into newer applications, while the Distribution & Aftermarket business delivered another strong quarter through service-led growth and completed its first turnkey high-horsepower repowering project.

KOEL Fluid Dynamics introduced 13 new products, while Arka Financial Services expanded both its national footprint and assets under management.

Gauri Kirloskar, Vice Chairperson & Managing Director, Kirloskar Oil Engines, said while exports continued to be affected by geopolitical developments and delayed customer investments. Calibrated pricing actions, cost optimisation and operational excellence initiatives are expected to improve profitability going forward. She remains confident of improving profitability through pricing initiatives, operational excellence and continued investments in innovation and advanced engineering.
